What we collect

Data you give us. When you send an enquiry through a form on this site we collect your name, email address and, where you provide them, your company, country, the stone you are interested in, your project size and your message. The short quote forms on the homepage and on product pages collect only the stone, the project size and your email address.

Data collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records standard technical information through analytics: pages viewed, approximate location (country or city level), device and browser type, the site that referred you, and interactions such as clicking a WhatsApp, email or phone link, or submitting a form. We do not use this to identify you personally.

We do not collect payment details through this website, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Why we use it, and on what legal basis

• To answer your enquiry and quote your project. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
• To keep a record of our correspondence in our customer relationship system, so that a later enquiry from you has context. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it. Legal basis: legitimate interest, and your consent where required in your jurisdiction.
• To meet legal and tax obligations in Türkiye. Legal basis: legal obligation.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

Who processes it with us

Your data is handled by a small number of service providers acting on our instructions:

• Our CRM, self-hosted on our own server in Europe, which stores your enquiry and our replies.
• Our email provider, which delivers the notification of your enquiry and our answer to you.
• Our hosting provider, which serves this website and keeps standard server logs.
• Google (Analytics) and Microsoft (Clarity), which provide the website statistics described above. These providers may process data outside Türkiye and the EU; such transfers rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses.

Cookies and similar technology

This site sets no advertising or preference cookies of its own. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity set their own cookies and similar identifiers to measure visits. You can block or delete these in your browser settings, or use your browser's "do not track" setting, without losing access to any part of the site. Nothing on this site requires a cookie in order to work.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and the correspondence that follows are kept for as long as we may reasonably expect to do business with you, and for as long afterwards as Turkish commercial and tax law requires us to retain trade records. Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in the provider's console, which does not exceed 14 months. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to our using it. Where we rely on your consent you can withdraw it at any time. Under the KVKK you also have the right to learn whether your data has been processed and to request that any third parties we shared it with are informed of a correction or deletion.

Write to info@atlasiatrading.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you believe we have handled your data improperly you may complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) or, if you are in the EU or the UK, to your local data protection authority.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS, and enquiries are transmitted encrypted to our own server. Access to the CRM is limited to the people at Atlasia Trading who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect what you send us.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
